Krispy Kreme has partnered with cult internet favourite cookie butter spread Biscoff to create it’s most hotly anticipated limited edition doughnuts yet.
Lotus brand’s Biscoff spread has become a worldwide hit. The unique taste of the buttery biscuit spread has made it so popular, people have been using it in milkshakes and cookies, as well as lasagnes and rotis — you read that right.
The Belgian spread is now partnering with Krispy Kreme to create two limited edition doughnuts.
From today Krispy Kreme stores will be selling the Lotus Biscoff Ring and the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake.
The Lotus Biscoff Ring is an Original Glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts topped with Lotus Biscoff spread, and hand drizzled with Lotus Biscoff crème.
And if that wasn’t indulgent enough, there’s the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake doughnut.
The doughnut features a signature shell dipped in Lotus Biscoff spread, filled with cream cheese frosting and finished with Lotus Biscoff crumb and chocolate ganache drizzle.
Lotus Biscoff spread, made with natural ingredients, has a unique taste of caramelised biscuit and is now available in seven continents.
“We saw how loved Lotus Biscoff was around the world so knew we had to give Aussies the chance to taste the two iconic flavours brought together in one delicious doughnut,” Olivia Sutherland, Marketing Director at Krispy Kreme Australia said.
“We love coming up with new flavours for our fans and know they’ll love this irresistibly tasty new addition.”
