Channel 7 has given fans their first glimpse of the 2021 season of Big Brother – and many of the housemates are faces you might have seen before.
Set in a revamped house inside a warehouse at Manly’s North Head in Sydney, a promo released on Monday night boasts twists and turns to the format including a series of new challenge rooms for contestants.

Beginning with Big Brother’s eerie voiceover, the promo teases: “My house has been transformed. More rooms. More secrets. More than meets the eye.
“Have you missed me? … You think you know my game? Think again,” he warns.
So just who will we see suffer through Big Brother’s gruelling tasks?
SARAH JANE ADAMS
Fashion icon, model and jewellery designer Sarah Jane Adams is just one familiar face who pops up in the promo.
Already securing an Instagram following of 193,300 and counting, the English-born Sydneysider, 64, is expected to bring plenty of colour and personality into the house.

“All my life I’ve lived outside my comfort zone, going into Big Brother is exactly that,” she says in the teaser.
MTV presenter, beauty influencer and DJ FlexMami, real name Lillian Ahenkan, also features in the clip.
“Big Brother intrigues me. My life is one big social game,” the 26-year-old is heard saying as she walks down a graffiti-decorated street in a statement checkered short-sleeved suit on her phone.
Something tells us this is going to be one fashionable house.
Former elite athlete Katie Williams, who appeared on Channel 9’s Australian Ninja Warrior in 2017, is also set to join the show.
“Big Brother is going to throw us curve balls,” she anticipates in the teaser.
Magician and comedian Christopher Wayne, one half of the Naked Magicians, has also been identified as a housemate.
Wayne has appeared on Channel 10’s Toasted TV (clothed)to perform magician tricks in the past.
Elsewhere in the promo, a female contestant promises to “act dumb and play smart” while studying books in a library, and another man, Carlos, tells Big Brother it’s “time to dance”.
Another man plays chess, while one more is filmed slowly emerging from the ocean topless.
“I’m here to have fun, but it’s in my nature to want a win,” a man emerging from a racing car says early in the clip.
It looks set to be a season full of colourful characters.
