Australian Transplant Games
We are so proud of Josh Yates, an ALDS WA member who recently attended the Australian Transplant Games in Newcastle NSW. Josh won 9 medals most of which were in his age group 18-29 years and just to put those performances into perspective, we believe Josh was the only athlete at the games who in addition to being a transplantee, also happened to be legally blind. Golf Day
It was a cool and overcast day for our 4th Annual Fundraising Golf Day, but luckily there was little wind and this somewhat grey day, was not at all marred by the weather. Western Australian Fundraising Theatre Night
It is our pleasure to invite our WA Families, Friends and Supporters to attend a fundraising Theatre Night and Social Gathering on Thursday 10th November 2011. Veronica Seeber, an ALDS friend, fundraiser and ex state representative, has organised the theatre night which features a comedy play ‘A Better You’.
