Our mission and aims

Mission

To provide assistance and information to those affected by leukodystrophy and to support research into leukodystrophy.

Aims

Our activities raise awareness of leukodystrophy, improve the availability of information, and raise funds for families affected by the disease.

We aim to:

  • provide professional counselling, encouragement and support to anyone affected, either directly or indirectly, by leukodystrophy
  • act as a source of information for those affected by, or interested in, the range of leukodystrophies
  • raise funds and provide financial support for families affected by leukodystrophy
  • increase public awareness of leukodystrophy
  • where possible, support research
