3rd ALDS Fundraising Golf Day – Thank You to All!

All good things happen to those who wait – and the 3rd ALDS Fundraising Golf Day was our best yet. We received the highest amount of registrations so far, the sun was out (maybe a little windy and cool) and it didn’t rain. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the golf and the lunch and presentations that followed.

There are many thank you’s to give and some names are mentioned below. The ALDS takes this opportunity to thank each and every person who contributed to our golf day. Our sponsors, players, donors and organising team are all to be congratulated for the role they played which led to such success. We will be able to fill you in on a monetary figure a little further down the track.

We would like to especially thank Maria Gambone who was our guest speaker. Maria spoke about her personal journey with Leukodystrophy and touched many people’s hearts and minds. Thank you also to Maria’s husband Glenn for the support he gave to Maria on the day.

And, from everyone at the ALDS, a very big thank you to our NSW State Representative, Mr Earl Schonberger who truly is the driving force behind the annual golf day event. ‘Thanks so much Earl’.
